You can now order from the garden! 🌿

We’ve had a few of you mention how handy it would be to order without having to come inside… especially when the little ones are happily playing, or you’re visiting on your own with little ones in tow!

And now you can! 🙌🏼

Simply scan the QR codes on the menus (or head to our website), order your food and drinks and we’ll bring everything straight out to you.

Coffee? Lunch? A lite bite? You can order it all while you carry on enjoying the garden. Or get ahead and order online to collect and take away! ☕️🥯

We’re always looking for ways to make your visits to Cub that little bit easier, and we really do listen to your feedback.

So next time you visit, find a spot, settle in and we’ll take care of the rest!

With our first birthday creeping up, we’ve been looking back at where it all started…

This time last year, Cub was very much a building site. The entire building was being renovated, walls were going up, windows were going in and our gorgeous garden area was still a gravel car park!

So much hard work and love went into creating this space, but we constantly remind ourselves that the finished building isn’t really the product at all… It’s what happens inside it. 🤍

The friendships, lunch dates, babies growing into toddlers, familiar faces we see every week, birthday celebrations, chats over coffee… and all the families who have made Cub part of their routine.

Thank you for spending your time with us, supporting us and, most importantly, making Cub what it is today.

So last week one of our lovely customers came to us with a beautiful idea...

They wanted to donate some money so that other local families could enjoy a little time together at Cub.

It got us thinking... what if we turned that into something bigger?

🤍 Introducing Cub Kindness Sessions 🤍

Whether you’re having a particularly tough week, or you’d like to nominate a friend or family member who could do with a little pick-me-up, we’d love to be able to offer a little support.

How it works:
• Cub Kindness Sessions can be purchased online and are added to our Kindness Pot.
• If you’d like to use one yourself, or you’d like to put someone else forward, simply send us a private message.
• If a session is available, we’ll send you a unique booking code so you (or the recipient) can book a Cub session online at a time that works.
• There’s never any judgement and it will always be completely confidential. We simply ask that the sessions are used honestly and in the spirit they’re intended, so they remain there for those who need them.

To help keep it going, we’ll also be adding 10x Kindness Sessions every month ourselves.

Sometimes a change of scenery, a warm welcome and a little time together can make all the difference. We hope Cub Kindness Sessions can offer just that.

Well, where do we begin on the last few weeks?!😅

You may have noticed we’ve been a little bit quieter on here & that’s for no other reason than the fact that we have been SO busy 🥹

Every time we think it might quieten down a little, you - our wonderful customers - prove us wrong and we truly couldn’t be more grateful ❤️

Whether you’ve stopped by for a matcha in the garden or visited the café whilst your little one plays, we have loved seeing you at Cub!

Thank you as always for the incredible support for our small business, we can’t wait to see what the rest of the summer brings 🙌🏼

Wow… what a week! ❤️

We’ve just had our busiest week since opening Cub, and we honestly can’t thank you all enough.

So many sessions have been fully booked, the garden has been buzzing, and we’ve made what feels like an endless number of Raspberry Lemonade Coolers! 🥤🍋🍓

Running a small independent business is never something we take for granted, so seeing so many of you choosing to spend your time (and money) with us really does mean the world.

Thank you for your patience during our busiest sessions, for supporting our café, and for continuing to recommend us to friends and family.

Every booking, every coffee and every lunch genuinely makes a difference 🫶🏼

Our lovely Elise brought her new arrival Ruby in to meet us, we had our busiest day on record, we served what felt like a million iced drinks, our street fair stall was a huge success & we added lots of newness in for our wonderful customers to enjoy ❤️
