Jack’s latest pick comes from the Loire Valley and is made from 100% Chenin Blanc. Off-dry and beautifully balanced, it offers notes of citrus, quince and honeycomb, with a fresh mineral finish that keeps you coming back for another sip.

Pair it with Sam’s saffron-cured red mullet for one of our favourite combinations on the menu right now.

Wine of the Week.

This week, Jack is pouring Alpha Estate, Xinomavro “Hedgehog” from the Amyndeon plateau of northwestern Greece.

It has an amazing bouquet of wild strawberries and redcurrants with great structure and balanced tannins through well integrated oak.

A wine which will work beautifully with two new dishes of quail and pork that are coming onto the menu this week.

Wine of the Week.

This week, we’re pouring Domaine Lafage Centenaire from the Côtes Catalanes, a remarkable blend of Grenache Blanc, Grenache Gris and Rosanne grown on century-old vines overlooking the Mediterranean.

With notes of wet gravel, pear, honeysuckle, vanilla and quince, this wine has a lovely character and richness with a beautiful fresh length. 

Available by the glass in 125ml pours all week.

Sometimes, one exceptional glass is all you need. 🍷
