Well they never lasted long, Robert & Roberta quit…………………turns out AI can’t deal with requests they couldn’t quite compute!!!
“A medium rare steak, more on the rare side but with no blood”
A table booked for 5 but turned up with 3 extra kids and a pram but the restaurant was full and when the guest could t understand why they still couldn’t go on the table set for 5 Robert’s blew a microchip.
Someone asked Roberta if they could hold a function in our suite but bring their own food and drink.
We asked Roberta to take a drinks order from table 5 but she used to go to school with the IPhone that was on the table and didn’t want to serve them.
Guess Gen AI isn’t quite ready for hospitality 😤

🚨Update🚨 Fairways Restaurant have upgraded to AI. Meet our new team members Robert & Roberta (don’t worry they’re gender neutral) our new AI restaurant team, they will replace the front of house tesm.
• they don’t need breaks
• don’t get sick
• don’t need holidays
• they don’t ever want to go to Belladrum or TRNSMT
• don’t get sick
• don’t v**e
• hot plates aren’t too hot for there fingers
They will continue to learn our customers likes and dislikes and can’t wait to greet you over the coming weeks, there will be a slight transition with our current front of house team and management before we leave and the robots take over. 🤖🦾
