We finally feel that we are seeing progress as we wrap up another busy week building our chippy on Church Street 🔨

The exterior is almost complete, with our brand new door and replacement window now fitted 🪟

Inside, it’s starting to feel like a real shop with joinery almost finished and decoration well under way. It’s so exciting to see our vision coming to life 🤩

Not much longer now - we can’t wait to welcome you through the doors! 🐟🍟

This week has been about transforming the exterior 👀

While there’s still plenty of work to do on the interior, we had to crack on with the shop front and prepping the new fascias in time for the arrival of our sign writer Robertsign 🪜

After lots of sanding, filling, undercoating, topcoating and general running around, the new fascia was ready for gold leaf ✨

Keep your eyes peeled for our brand new sign coming this week 🤩

Now tag the person who owes you a chippy 🤪

It’s been a full-on few days on site!

Our range is now installed and commissioned by KFE Ltd

Charlie’s been up on the scaffolding giving the roof ducting a fresh coat to meet planning requirements 🎨

Shanks Joinery has been hard at work too - filling in the gaps (literally 😆)

And this morning, we even had our little superstar helping brush up and clear out all the rubbish!

Since first sitting down with Colin Armstrong Architects we have enjoyed every challenge along the way (well most of them anyway) 📝

A huge shout out to Shanks Joinery , Munro Plumbing & Heating Services and SAFE Services Ltd. for all the hard work, guidance, and serious patience so far 🔨🪜

There’s still a long road ahead, but we’re so excited for the day we finally open our doors and share our family business with the community 🤗
