☕✨ Another fantastic evening at Planet Youth Invergordon! ✨☕
This week our young people stepped behind the coffee machine and put their barista skills to the test! From steaming milk and crafting latte art to learning customer service, teamwork and communication, everyone gave it their all. 🙌
It was amazing to see confidence grow with every cup poured and every new skill learned. The concentration, determination and pride shown throughout the session was incredible, and we couldn’t be prouder of what they achieved. ❤️
A huge thank you to everyone who took part and to our supporters for helping us create opportunities for young people to learn, grow and discover what they’re capable of.
Well done everyone! 👏☕🌟

Young People Reach New Heights at Planet Youth Invergordon Launch

The first Planet Youth Invergordon session got off to a flying start this week as local young people came together for a creative tower-building challenge using recycled materials.

Working in teams, participants were challenged to design and build the tallest free-standing tower they could. The room was filled with laughter, imagination and problem-solving as ideas took shape and young people encouraged one another every step of the way.

Organisers were particularly impressed by the enthusiasm, creativity and teamwork on display, with several young people demonstrating outstanding leadership potential. Their willingness to support each other, think creatively and embrace new challenges has already inspired plans for future mentoring and leadership opportunities within the programme.

Planet Youth Invergordon is built around the simple philosophy of helping young people Belong. Grow. Go Further.Through practical activities, community involvement and positive experiences, the initiative aims to build confidence, friendships and life skills in a welcoming environment.

One organiser said:

“Watching these young people work together, encourage each other and laugh their way through the challenge was inspiring. We didn’t just see towers being built – we saw confidence growing, friendships forming and future leaders beginning to emerge. We couldn’t be prouder of what they achieved in their very first session.”

The programme offers young people aged 12–16 the opportunity to take part in hands-on challenges, meet inspiring people and discover new opportunities within their local community.

Planet Youth Invergordon is free to join, proudly supported by Clootie McToot Investment Cafe, and is committed to creating a place where every young person can belong, grow and go further.
