Well… autumn has definitely arrived, and of course it’s brought the quiet season along with it.🍁

So we’re 𝗡𝗢𝗧 disappearing just yet — we’re simply cutting back the quieter days and saving all our coffee-making energy for the weekend (and Friday, obviously 😉). ❤️☕️
We’ll post another update with our opening hours for the 𝗪𝗘𝗘𝗞 𝗖𝗢𝗠𝗠𝗘𝗡𝗖𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝟭𝟵𝗧𝗛 𝗢𝗖𝗧𝗢𝗕𝗘𝗥 once we see how the next couple of weeks go.

Sooo… slight change of plan! 👀
Fantasy Island is closed on weekdays for the next couple of weeks and will only be open at weekends. We usually follow their calendar, 𝗕𝗨𝗧 you lovely lot have still been keeping us busy… so we’re not quite ready to give up our weekdays just yet! ☕️😂

We’re going to give some 𝗥𝗘𝗗𝗨𝗖𝗘𝗗 𝗪𝗘𝗘𝗞𝗗𝗔𝗬 𝗛𝗢𝗨𝗥𝗦 a whirl and see how we get on:

We’re going to see how this week goes. If it’s super quiet on a weekday, we may close a little earlier — there’s only so much coffee we can drink ourselves! ☕️🤣
And if the weekdays do go very quiet, we may switch to 𝗪𝗘𝗘𝗞𝗘𝗡𝗗𝗦 𝗢𝗡𝗟𝗬 for a couple of weeks until half term.

Right… we need to know what you lot think! 👀

You know those cold drinks from 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐁𝐈𝐆 𝐁𝐑𝐀𝐍𝐃 𝐂𝐎𝐅𝐅𝐄𝐄 𝐒𝐇𝐎𝐏𝐒 that come with that gorgeous, thick, creamy, fluffy layer sitting on top? ☁️🥤

𝐓𝐇𝐀𝐓’𝐒 𝐂𝐎𝐋𝐃 𝐅𝐎𝐀𝐌! ☁️

Basically, it’s 𝐂𝐎𝐋𝐃 𝐂𝐑𝐄𝐀𝐌 𝐓𝐇𝐀𝐓’𝐒 𝐁𝐄𝐄𝐍 𝐖𝐇𝐈𝐏𝐏𝐄𝐃 𝐀𝐍𝐃 𝐅𝐎𝐀𝐌𝐄𝐃 𝐈𝐍𝐓𝐎 𝐀 𝐋𝐈𝐆𝐇𝐓, 𝐒𝐈𝐋𝐊𝐘, 𝐅𝐋𝐔𝐅𝐅𝐘 𝐂𝐑𝐄𝐀𝐌 that sits on top of your iced drink and slowly mixes into it as you drink.

A huge thank you to everyone who has helped make Fear Island what it is, and to everyone who voted and continues to support the event.

And a massive congratulations to Dave Bateman, our Creative Manager, who couldn’t be at the awards today because he’s awaiting a very special delivery of his own… 👶🍼 Congratulations, Dave!

This year, Fear Island is going to be bigger, better and scarier than ever. 😈

☕️🍂 𝗪𝗘𝗟𝗟… 𝗧𝗛𝗜𝗦 𝗬𝗘𝗔𝗥 𝗛𝗔𝗦 𝗕𝗘𝗘𝗡 𝗖𝗥𝗔𝗭𝗬! 🤯

In a good way though! It’s been SO busy at House of Coffee this year and honestly, we’ve loved every minute of it. 🥰❤️

We thought it was going to be a little quieter this week…

𝗔𝗣𝗣𝗔𝗥𝗘𝗡𝗧𝗟𝗬 𝗡𝗢𝗧. 😂

Still busy! Still making coffees, still feeding you lot and still wondering how it’s already September! 🤣❤️🥰

I’m currently sat at home, still very much in work mode, and I’ve somehow ended up thinking about next year’s menu…

𝗢𝗙 𝗖𝗢𝗨𝗥𝗦𝗘 𝗜 𝗛𝗔𝗩𝗘. 😂🤦‍♀️
Because apparently my brain does not understand the concept of finishing work and switching off.

I’ve got loads of ideas floating around in my head, I’m already thinking about things I’d like to change or add next year, AND there are still a couple of things I’d like to try out before we finish this season.

Bueno ice latte……. 😍🤯

𝗟𝗜𝗞𝗘 𝗜 𝗦𝗔𝗜𝗗… 𝗡𝗢 𝗢𝗙𝗙 𝗦𝗪𝗜𝗧𝗖𝗛. 🤣

And I’m actually buzzing about it!

I love thinking about menus and new ideas and all the little things we can try. Sometimes I’ll have an idea and think “ooooohhh that could be good”…
…and then realise I’ve just created another job for us all. 😂🤦‍♀️

But that’s the fun of it!

We’ve still got 𝗣𝗟𝗘𝗡𝗧𝗬 𝗢𝗙 𝗧𝗛𝗜𝗦 𝗦𝗘𝗔𝗦𝗢𝗡 𝗟𝗘𝗙𝗧 yet, so don’t worry, we’re not doing the dramatic “see you next year” speech just yet! 😂
But that will come in no time 🥹
For now there’s still lots to come and I’m excited to see what the rest of the season brings. ❤️
