Due to the awfull weather conditions on tuesday, we made a difficult but unavoidable decision to not head out and attempt deliveries, sometimes situations arise, the weather or breakdowns that either result in a delay in service or a cancelation, we do our very best to get everywhere in all conditions throughout the year and where events arise that prevent us from doing so we put a notice on our facebook and our customer whatapp to let everyone know whats happening.
We have been very saddened to recieve the following message from a customer on whatapp, we did what we felt at the time was the best course of action, we are down to one vehicle due to no fault of our own, flood water is a major risk and given how much of it was around tuesday night and how many roads had been cut off, not to mention the messages informing us where we would not be able to reach, we made our decision.
We have recieved this message
"Unfortunately due to my present health situation I have no alternative but to drink black coffee this morning. Cannot get out to buy a sub. Not happy."
We know that no delivery is less than ideal but going forward we ask for feedback how our other customers feel we should best deal with situations that arise in the future.
We created the customer WhatsApp so we can contact as many people as possible as it's near impossible to email and text everyone individually! We thought this seemed to be working well.
All feed back is gratefully recieved.
