MEET NOOKERY 🥹☕️📚
For months if not years, Nookery has existed in my head, on mood boards, in endless drawings and in approximately 4,000 conversations 😂
And now I can finally show you a little glimpse of what we’re creating. 🤍
A cosy neighbourhood café filled with good coffee, freshly baked treats, SO many books, comfy corners and a whole lot of colour.
A place for slow mornings and quick coffees.
For lunch with friends.
For bringing the kids.
For sitting with a book.
For cake just because.
For becoming part of the community. 🥹
Seeing it come to life like this honestly makes me SO excited. Soon this won’t just be a drawing… you’ll actually be sitting here. 😭☕️
There are so many little details I still haven’t shown you yet and I cannot WAIT for you to see them.

Fluffy, homemade American style pancakes, made from scratch using the best ingredients… AND they’ll be available to buy from Nookery in packs to take home aswell as our weekend Sunday morning bakery boxes .. more will be revealed on that soon 👀 🤍
Perfect for lazy weekend breakfasts, after school treats or those mornings when you want homemade pancakes without actually having to make them 😂
Just warm them up, add your favourite toppings and you’re good to go 🥞🍓🍯
They’ve already been very thoroughly taste tested in our house and the official verdict from my girls is 10/10 😂👏🏼

If there’s one thing we’ve had so much amazing feedback on, it’s our homemade cinnamon buns so obviously they HAD to make it onto the Nookery counter 🥹
Soft, squishy, freshly baked and absolutely loaded with topping 🤤

A little peek behind the scenes... ☁️📚☕️
This is one of the first mood boards our amazing interior designer has put together for Nookery, and we’re completely obsessed with the direction it’s heading.
Think soft pinks, natural oak, books, fresh bakes, cosy corners, greenery and just the right amount of industrial charm. A space designed to feel warm, welcoming and somewhere you’ll want to stay a while.
It’s still very much a work in progress, but we can’t wait to bring it to life. 🤍

We’re so excited to be looking for our very first team member at NOOKERY! 💚📚☕️
Full-Time Barista & Baker
📍 Lower Bardon, Coalville
🗓️ Starting September 2026
We’re looking for someone who is:
🤍 Friendly, warm and welcoming
☕ Passionate about great coffee and delicious bakes
📚 A book lover (or happy to become one!)
✨ Fantastic with customers
🤝 A real team player
💪 Happy to get stuck into all aspects of café life
Experience is preferred but definitely not essential full training will be provided for the right person.
Hours:
• Full time
• Any 5 days from 7
• Rota basis (including weekends)
