May brings us a load of beans for you guys to enjoy.

We’ve got their ‘Caramel Curd’ on pourover which is a butter co-ferment from China which quite literally tastes of toffee popcorn. It’s quite extraordinary. Serving in the shop for those wanting something ‘other worldly’.

We’ve got boxes of it on retail too, as well as a Rosado (Steve’s favourite) named Solero Strawb. Home brewers need to try these beans, but if you don’t brew at home then talk to the team and we’ll happily serve you some x

We’ve got a fruity and fermented coffee produced by Nestor Lasso in Colombia that’s bursting with strawberry and herbs, and a fantastic coconut infused low caffeine option - perfect for the afternoon.

If you brew on a V60 at home we’re now stocking filter papers! The paper makes a huge difference when brewing and these fast flow Cafec papers are less prone to clogging and allow you to grind a touch finer and achieve a similar brew time to what you’d be used to. This helps unlock all those extra flavours and minimises over extraction through paper clogging.

Pop in for a chat about paper or to pick up a pack! 🤓

Advanced process, Ombligon varietal, Nestor Lasso produced! Sounds like jargon but in 2025 this is the language of exceptional coffee. The good guys over at in Bristol have roasted this rare coffee to perfection and we’re getting strawberry shortbread, cherry Bakewell and a boozy chocolate finish on this.

Want to try it? Come to the cafe and ask for Ombligon or Nestor Lasso, or ask us for a little more info. It’s priced at £6 - definitely a premium but I can think of half a dozen places that would be asking for £15+ a brew of this 🙃

There hasn’t been a product we buy in that hasn’t gone up in price this year. Although I’ll admit most price increases have been modest, the rises in raw coffee price and staff wages have not been. To keep offering the quality you’ve come to expect from us, and to keep our amazing staff paid better than most other cafes there will be small price increases on what we sell over the coming days. Nothing substantial and I’m confident everyone will agree our pricing is still under the ‘norm’ for what we do. We continue to offer loyalty stamps for free drinks and thank you in advance for your support in 2025!
