Chloe’s Nourish Bowls are officially back this week and are here to stay! They will be at a slightly higher price now we’re not in the trial but they will taste as good as before! We have a new special bowl for this week.. Chloe’s Caesar...

Chicken breast, kale, pickled radish, feta, green beans and homemade caesar dressing

It sounds delicious so get down early to make sure you get one before they go!

Wow — thank you to everyone who tried our new Nourish Bowls last week… we completely sold out! 🙌

£5 Nourish Bowls are here this weekend and next 🙌

To celebrate the launch of our brand new Nourish Bowls, we’re serving them up for just £5 – but only for a limited time… and once they’re gone, they’re gone 👀

Here’s what’s on the menu this week:

🥗 The Med

Herby couscous with kale, roasted peppers, onions, spiced chickpeas and feta cheese. Served with a pot of lemon and garlic yogurt dressing.

🍗 The Chicken Meze

Spiced chicken breast, middle eastern style cous cous with sultanas, roasted peppers, spinach and pomegrantes. Served with a pot of garlic and feta dressing.

🥦 The Miso One

Miso butter beans with a kale and quinoa base, sesame roasted broccoli, carrot ribbons and pickled onions. Served with a pot of green tahini dressing.

Fresh, filling and made to keep you going. Dining by Desave and Step Out Coffee are launching a new healthy alternative to lunch.

Chloe’s bowls are prepped fresh each week using local, simple and healthy ingredients. The bowls will be available to take away for your lunch, in case you have to dash back to work, or you just fancy something a bit lighter to fill you up. It’s proper good food that tastes as good as it looks.

Starting this Friday, we will be launching three different nourish bowls for you to try. They will be limited so once they’re gone, they’re gone.

We’re really excited to bring you something different to Honley. As well as some regular bowls, Chloe will be putting on a couple of specials too! Keep your eyes peeled on our socials.

As some of you might already know, Selene’s last shift with us at Step Out Coffee was last Thursday. We’re incredibly grateful for all her hard work and support — she’s been a huge asset to the business and made such a great impact with our new customers in Honley. We wish her the very best as she moves on to new opportunities and look forward to seeing her on the other side of the counter!

I also wanted to let you know that I’ve decided not to rehire just yet and, due to my other work and family commitments, have made the decision to open Fridays and Saturdays only for the time being.

Wednesdays and Thursdays were always intended to be a trial to see how things went in our new space, and it’s highlighted that we need to make some adjustments on those days in particular before continuing. A big focus for us is introducing savoury food options, and we need to work out just what that will look like and how we do it. To do it properly, we also need to make a few changes to our space and overall setup.

Reducing the days will give the time to build a solid foundation to grow from on the days we open, make those changes properly, and find the right person to join the team before reopening midweek again.

Apologies for any inconvenience the change of days may cause.

This weekend, you’ll be able to take home even more from the range of whole beans.

If you didn’t already know, Danelaw are the roasters behind our house beans — a small but mighty, multi-award-winning roastery right on our doorstep in Meltham.

Alongside our house roast, they produce an incredible range of coffees, and we’re excited to be bringing a selection of these into the shop for you to enjoy at home.

And for the decaf drinkers among you — we’ve got you covered. We’ve included one of Danelaw’s decafs too, which in our opinion are truly next level. We’re confident you won’t be disappointed.
