Today we’re looking forward to hosting a fully booked Father’s Day lunch and Feast Over Fire BBQ in the garden. The sun is shining, the gardens are looking beautiful, the no-dig garden is flourishing and it’s the perfect day to enjoy everything The Farmhouse has to offer.

Weekend incoming... ☀️
We’re looking forward to a busy one here at The Farmhouse, with a sold-out Father’s Day Feast Over Fire BBQ in the garden and a full day of delicious Sunday lunches in the Orangery.

Missed out this time? Don’t panic. Our Feast Over Fire BBQ weekends return every sunny Saturday and Sunday throughout the summer from July, bringing locally sourced meats cooked over flame, seasonal produce and garden-to-glass cocktails .

In the meantime, why not join us for lunch or dinner this week? Make the most of the sunshine in the garden, enjoy a drink on the terrace or retreat to the cool comfort of the Orangery for a leisurely meal.

Booking is recommended, especially if you’d like a table outside, but if you’re passing by, do pop in and we’ll always do our best to find you a spot.

With the sunshine and warmer temperatures returning this week, it feels like the perfect excuse to come and spend some time with us at The Farmhouse. ☀️

Whilst we’re now fully booked for Father’s Day this Sunday, there are plenty of opportunities to enjoy the best of the season this week. Join us for a tasty lunch in the garden, a dinner date in the Orangery, or simply settle in on the terrace for a glass of something chilled as the sun goes down.

Grab a bottle of wine, take your time over the menu, enjoy dishes inspired by the season and soak up the beautiful Hertfordshire countryside that surrounds us.

Later this month, Feast Over Fire returns for sunny weekends throughout the summer.

Expect local meats cooked over flame, seasonal dishes inspired by what’s tasting good right now, and salads and sides built around ingredients growing just a few steps away in our own no-dig garden. Add good wine, a spot on the lawn and your favourite people, and you’ve got all the ingredients for a very good afternoon.

If you’d like to enjoy produce grown right here on site, join us for lunch, dinner or drinks on the terrace this summer. With the sunshine set to return, we’d always recommend booking ahead to secure your table, although you’re always welcome to pop by and we’ll do our best to find you a seat.
