Our Sicilian Supper Club — will be hosted here at The Duke Hotel next week Saturday the 27/06/2026.

This menu is especially close to Chef Matteo’s heart, celebrating his Sicilian heritage through a tasting experience of traditional dishes and flavours from the island:

* Wild mushroom arancini & truffle cream

* Parmigiana di melanzane

* Octopus carpaccio with orange & fennel

* Casarecce alla Norma

* Sea bream with saffron potato cream & salmoriglio sauce

🍜 This is our Yakisoba stir-fry fry, with Pak choi, smoked tofu, bell peppers, red onions and garlic chives.

This is essentially our "jolly" dish, it is vegetarian but it can also be done vegan, gluten-free or you can add some grilled Teriyaki chicken.

At The Duke Hotel Hilmarton, on 1st of August 2026, it will be a day in the garden, celebrating Summer.

We’re excited to announce that is the official band performing for our South African Braai this summer!

Join us on Saturday, the 1st of August 2026, from 12:00 to 20:00, for a relaxed day filled with fantastic food, live music, and great company in our garden.

What to expect:

- Authentic South African Braai with delicious BBQ dishes

- Vegetarian options available (we cater for all allergies as long as we know in advance)

- Seasonal salads and sweet treats to finish

- Live music throughout the day

- Garden games and a welcoming, laid-back atmosphere

- Family and dog-friendly event

*Please note that our usual à la carte menu will not be available on the day.

*We highly recommend booking in advance so we can ensure there’s plenty of food for everyone.

*Feel free to bring along your camping chairs and picnic blankets and make a day of it!
