We’d like to share some positive news.

Following a recent re-inspection, we’ve now been awarded a 4-Star Food Hygiene Rating.

After our previous inspection resulted in a poor rating, we immediately made the required improvements and paid £180 for a re-rating inspection so the matter could be resolved as quickly as possible. Unfortunately, despite paying the fee, months passed without any communication or revisit. It was only after we chased the matter ourselves that we received a generic response asking us to contact another department.

Once we spoke to senior members of the team and explained the situation, a different inspector attended within a week. We would like to sincerely thank them for their professionalism, efficiency, and for carrying out a thorough and fair assessment. The outcome was a 4-star rating, which we believe is a far more accurate reflection of the standards we work hard to maintain every day.

This experience was incredibly frustrating because the original rating had a significant impact on our reputation and customer confidence. We simply wanted a fair opportunity to demonstrate the improvements we had already made.

Our commitment to food safety, cleanliness, and transparency has never changed. Our kitchen has always been, and will always remain, open for customers to view if they wish. We have nothing to hide, and we’re proud of the standards we maintain.

Thank you to everyone who continued to support us throughout this process. Your loyalty means everything to us, and we look forward to continuing to serve you with the high standards you deserve.

We’re happy to confirm that we are open as normal today (Saturday) and ready to serve you.

The message regarding yesterday’s closure has now been removed, as the issue has been resolved and is no longer relevant.

Important Update 🍽️

From now on, the restaurant will be closed every Monday for the foreseeable future. (We will be open to serve you during bank holidays)

Our kitchen team work incredibly hard, and this gives them a well-deserved day to rest and reset so they can keep delivering the food and service you expect from us.

We’ll let everyone know as soon as we’re back to being open 7 days a week again.

For those with bookings on Christmas Day, please expect a phone call from us sometime this week. We will be confirming how many guests in your party will be choosing the traditional turkey option and how many will be opting for the Indian menu. As turkey is not a meat we typically stock, we require final numbers in advance so our chefs can prepare accordingly. If you have not left a phone number with your booking please inform us of your choice via a phone call or message to our page.
