A little change of scenery tomorrow, Saturday 3rd 🌿
Our Main Barn is being used for a private event, so the café will be open from our Festival Barn instead — a slightly more rugged, relaxed version of our usual home.

You’ll still be able to join us for coffee, food and drinks, head out for a dog walk and enjoy the public footpaths around Lyde Court.

Please note there will be no access to the main barn or the front lawns while the private event is taking place.

Same countryside, same Lyde Court welcome — just from a different barn for the day. ☕🐾

Our coffee & walnut cakes have been prepped by Alicia and waiting for the doors to open tomorrow - we won't say how many shots of coffee go into this, but its definitely worth it...

Perfect as a pick me up after a stroll around the Gardens.

Have you noticed our coffee tastes a little different lately?☕️

Our favourite beans were sadly discontinued recently, which left us with the rather important job of finding their replacement.

We know how important a properly good cup of coffee is — whether it’s the reason you’re visiting, a post-walk pick-me-up, or simply an excuse to sit in the barn for half an hour.

Luckily, working with the brilliant team at , we had plenty of very good options to choose from. After a fair bit of trying and testing on one heavily caffeinated afternoon, we eventually found our favourite bean🫘

It’s now been in the grinder for a little while — so, have you noticed the difference? More importantly, what do you think? 💭

Our gardens are really coming back to life following the recent rain. Ol’s been out mowing again, so the willow lawn is looking even better than usual…

With the season change mid-swing, now is the perfect time for a wander round the front lawn, grounds and public footpaths before they get too squelchy. If you're returning from a dog walk and are a little concerned about the mud, please feel free to use the hoses (front entrance to café) to rinse them off.

Cooler mornings are creeping back in which means it’s officially the season for walks, wellies, rosy cheeks, muddy boots… and a Full English waiting at the end of it.🍴

We're back open today with usual Public Footpaths and grounds available. Dogs are welcome inside too, with even a few dog friendly dishes on the menu.🐾
