Last Wednesday we celebrated National Fitness Day over in the Fitness Centre. The atmosphere was fantastic as Members and staff were encouraged to take part in one of the challenges or trial classes organised by the fitness team throughout the day!

Hello Autumn! The light fog that surrounded the Club this morning has dispersed, giving way to the bright blue skies and beautiful September sunshine for the first day of the new season!

Tomorrow (Wednesday 22nd September) is National Fitness Day! It is a chance to highlight the role physical activity plays across the UK, helping us raise awareness of the importance of leading healthier lifestyles through being physically active.

Our Fitness Team are holding different activities throughout the day and we encourage Members to come along and take part! There will be three different gym challenges involving sit-ups, squats and jumping jacks which are to be completed in the gym. Each participant will receive a prize from The Fitness Centre.

As well as the gym challenges we are also holding three taster classes for Members to try something new:
3pm - 3.15pm - Blitz Ball and Core
3.20pm - 3.35pm - HIIT and Abs
3.40pm - 3.55pm - Body Tone

We are looking forward to seeing Members getting involved tomorrow for National Fitness Day

The stage is ready for the start of the wonderful 2021 Henley Festival! There are some fabulous artists performing over the next 5 days, delicious food and drink and lots of entertainment to be enjoyed!

On our side of the river, Club Members can come and soak up the atmosphere whilst enjoying relaxed drinks in the Riverside Pavilion or join us for dinner in the Ballroom and Conservatory. We have also opened up the Paddock for picnics from 5pm each night.

Time to eat, drink and be merry at one of Henleys most loved events!

Yesterday we celebrated the August Bank Holiday with over 40 cars adorning the lawn at our annual classic car display by the Classic Motoring Interest Group.

It was a wonderful day with a variety of classic models including Jaguar's, Bentley's, an MG and an Austin-Healey 3000 on display and competitions for both adults and children. There was live commentary from the Interest Group's President, Piers Flashman, who mingled with the owners so that the audience could hear first-hand, what it’s like to own one of these fantastic cars!
