From toast to roast, we've personally been serving Helston since 2010, but as a business so much longer....

The Coffee Bean Restaurant, worth the trip. 😆🤣

On Friday we added some new pond mates 🐟 to the few that were already in there. Now they had a couple of days to settle in, I thought I'd pop out there this morning and give them a little food just before leaving for work.

A little piece of pipe had given up it's only job and drained most of the pond. As panic set in, I grabbed a bucket from the house and moved most of the fish 🐬 that were left in the final 10cm of water into the bucket. Some preferred to stay put. 🐋

I tried a repair on the pump connection (that I hated when I installed it two years ago) didn't work. Had to drive to Trimar Aquaria in Pool to get some different piping. Got the piping, refilled the pond and everyone is safely home again. 🌞

Anyway, that explains why no one announced our soup flavours of the week this morning! 😆

Tomorrow is Chicken and Sweetcorn. I'll let you know the rest once I've investigated our ingredient stock.

We're not all about hot food. Along with our vast menu of hot, roast lunches fry ups, toasties, Jacket spuds etc we also knock out a mean fresh salad that can be eating in-house or taken anywhere you like!

This week homemade soups are:

Monday is French Onion.
Tuesday is Leek & Potato.
Wednesday is Mushroom.
Thursday is Chicken & Sweetcorn.
Friday is Colcannon.
Saturday is Pea & Ham.

We serve Beef, Pork, Chicken and Nut Roast every day.

It looks like we're hitting that time of year where you need four sets of clothes for one day.

Like the legendary popstars Crowded House sung in 1991 after their visit to Cornwall (blatent lie), Four Seasons in One Day. Who knows what's going to happen? Shorts and umbrella is the way forward. 🌞⚡️🌧️⛄️

Anyway this week homemade soups are:

Monday is Mushroom.
Tuesday is Vegetable.
Wednesday is Leek & Potato.
Thursday is Parsnip, Carrot & Turmeric.
Friday is Pea & Ham.
Saturday is French Onion.

We serve Beef, Pork, Chicken and Nut Roast every day.
