🍺 Saturday’s adventure will take me through Hednesford, Cannock, Landywood and Bloxwich before carrying on into Walsall later in the afternoon.

I’ll be out again with Neil from Neil’s Real Ale & Pub Page, with five stops planned before the Walsall part of the day begins.

📍 Heddin's Ford Micro Pub – Hednesford
📍 The Newhall Arms – Cannock
📍 The Arcade – Cannock
📍 Andys’ Ale House – Landywood
📍 New Invention Brewery – Bloxwich

We’ll start in Hednesford, a former mining town right on the edge of Cannock Chase, with plenty of its history shaped by the coal industry and the surrounding common.

Then it’s on to Cannock, the main town in the area and a busy old market town that grew rapidly during the industrial period. We’ve got two stops here before moving on.

Next is Landywood, a much smaller place with more of a village feel, sitting between Great Wyrley and Cheslyn Hay. Just the one stop here before another short train hop.

Our final stop before Walsall is Bloxwich, a town with a strong industrial past and particularly well known for lock making, metalworking and other traditional trades.

Five pubs, four places and a nice mix of stops before we head into Walsall for the second half of the day. 🍻
