🚧 Road Closure Update 🚧

Just a little update for everyone…

New road, opposite the café will be closed from today until Friday 24th July while Northern Powergrid carries out essential repair work.

Unfortunately, this also means there will be no access to the car park opposite the café during this time. We know this isn’t ideal, but we’ll still be here and would love to see you if you’re able to visit us! ☕🥪💛

We’ve also been informed that our power supply is due to be interrupted on Wednesday. The good news is that Northern Powergrid will be providing us with a battery generator that’s powerful enough to keep the café running.

At the moment, we don’t know what time the generator will be installed, so we are unsure what time we will be able to open on Wednesday. We’ll keep everyone updated here as soon as we know more.

Thank you so much for your continued support. 🫶

It’s another hot one this week! 🥵☀️

The message below still applies. Depending on how temperatures rise throughout the day, we may need to finish our hot food service earlier than planned to prioritise the health and safety of both our staff and our customers. ☕️

Thank you for your understanding and continued support. We really appreciate it! 💛

With the high temperatures forecast over the next few days. The team will still be working extremely hard to provide you with our high standard food and drinks. Please bear with us, as we might end up being a bit frazzled 🤪 our kitchen can be significantly higher then the temperature outside. 🥵 ☀️

With this in mind, we may choose to stop our hot food service earlier than planned. We will always prioritise the safety and wellbeing of our staff and customers. ☕️

We have power! ⚡

Our electricity has been restored, and we will be open from 8:00am.

New Road is still currently closed, and there is no access to St Michael’s Car Park at this time.

The team is currently tarmacking the road, and we’re hopeful it will reopen later today.

Thank you for your continued support and patience. We hope to see you soon!

We have spoken to Northern Powergrid this morning for an update.

They have confirmed that the issue is more extensive than initially expected, and power will not be restored until at least 3:30pm this afternoon. 🥴

Unfortunately, this leaves us with no option but to remain closed today.

We sincerely apologise for any inconvenience caused. As a small business, times are challenging enough without being forced to close due to circumstances beyond our control.

Provided power is restored as expected, we will reopen tomorrow and look forward to welcoming you back.

Thank you for your understanding and continued support. ❤️

⚡ We’ve had a power cut! 😔

Unfortunately, we’ve arrived this morning to find that we have no electricity. Northern Powergrid are aware of the issue and have dispatched an emergency response team.

As a result, we are currently unable to open our doors at 8am as planned.

As soon as power is restored, we’ll be able to open and welcome you back.

We’ll keep you updated throughout the morning. Thank you for your patience and understanding.
