A fantastic weekend right on our doorstep! 🚂
It was truly wonderful to see our local history in all its glory at the Highweald Steam Rally this weekend, just next door at freshfield farm. It was an even happier surprise was spotting a personal relic of our own from years gone by, a beautiful old engine that once called the Sloop grounds home for over 10 years, now back with her owner, It was lovely to see her out and about for the weekend, being admired by so many 😊

We are eagerly anticipating the High Weald Steam Working Weekend taking place on the 13th and 14th of June at Freshfield Farm, it promises to be an incredible weekend filled with steam, heritage, and family fun.

While you’re there, be sure to stop by our kitchen and treat yourself to something delicious:
