🚨 OLLIE IS IN BIG TROUBLE... 🚨

His pizza stretching skills have become completely out of control.

We're talking dangerously fluffy crusts, perfectly blistered bases, and dough that somehow seems to have a better social life than the rest of us.

The good news?

You get the chance to work alongside this absolute legend.

As Writers Bloc continues to grow, we're looking for someone to join our kitchen gang and help us take things to the next level. Whether you're already experienced or keen to learn, we'll give you the training, support and opportunities to become part of something special.

✨ On-the-job training
✨ Staff incentives & perks
✨ Team socials & away days
✨ A genuinely brilliant team
✨ Pizza. Lots of pizza.

This isn't your average kitchen.

It's fast-paced, creative, a little bit chaotic, full of laughs, and powered by good people who genuinely care about what they do.

So the question is...

Can you take the heat in the kitchen?

Because ours is like no other.

📩 Drop us a message, send over your CV, or pop in for a chat.

WE ARE HIRING. JOIN OUR GANG. 🍕❤️

Hungry Eyes - We see you! 🍕 BIG BASES. BIG ENERGY. BIG NEWS.

Meet Evie: the queen of the hand-stretched pizza base. 👑

Bigger than life, beautifully bubbled and stretched by hand with the kind of confidence that only comes from putting in the graft.

She’s gone from learning the ropes to becoming a full-on pizza spinner, and honestly, watching her work that dough has been a thing of beauty. 🍕🔥

But there’s a little plot twist…

Our Evie is heading off to Bristol for her next adventure. 🎓✨

Couldn’t be prouder of her. She’s worked hard, grown into a seriously talented pizza maker and become a huge part of our Writers Bloc family.

So this weekend is your LAST CHANCE to catch Evie behind the pizza counter before she heads west.

Come hungry. Order the big one. Watch her spin.

Give her the send-off she deserves. ❤️

And don’t worry… she’ll be back to see us at Christmas. 🎄🍕

Haworth pizza. Big dough. Bigger memories.

Good luck, Evie - go smash it. We’ll miss you. 🫶

SWIPE TO REVEAL WHO’S BEHIND THE COCKTAIL… 👀🍸

Every great story starts with an exceptional cocktail.

And behind this one? Lola.

Cocktail prodigy in the making, creative perfectionist and the woman who will absolutely not let a drink leave the bar with a garnish that’s even slightly out of place.

This is her Blackberry Negroni - poured, perfected and finished with the kind of attention to detail that says, “Yes, I noticed that tiny imperfection. And no, it’s not leaving the bar.” 😂

Lola has a creative flair that’s sharp from every angle. She’s got the eye, the precision and the imagination - and she’s only just getting started.

At WRITERS’ BLOC, we’re not just serving cocktails.

We’re creating little moments worth remembering.

So come through the door. Find a seat. Order something beautiful.

Lola’s got the garnish and the creative flair🍸

🍕 MEET OLLIE. CHIEF DOUGH SPINNER. PROFESSIONAL PIZZA FLIPPER. KITCHEN DJ.

Every great pizza has a story.

Ours starts with Ollie. 👊

Our resident dough whisperer has been perfecting the art of Sicilian-style pizza dough - light, airy, gloriously golden and with just the right amount of crunch. And if you’ve tried our focaccia, you’ll know he’s got that magic working there too. 🤌

Everything is baked in-house, fresh every day, because we don’t do ordinary dough around here.

But Ollie isn’t just about the pizza.

He keeps the kitchen alive with playlists that have the whole team dancing, throws pizzas higher than some people can throw a conversation, and brings the kind of energy, work ethic and good humour that makes a kitchen tick. 🎶🍕

He’s cool. He’s talented. He works hard.

And honestly? He’s one of us. ❤️

We reckon he’s going to go a very long way.

In the meantime, we’re more than happy to keep feeding you his dough.

Sicilian-style. Baked in-house. Made with serious love.

Come hungry. Leave obsessed. 🍕🔥

Great pizza tells a story 📖🍕
Our Sicilian Pizzetta recipe is rooted in co-owner Matthew’s heritage - from his Great Nonna’s kitchen to ours.

That rustic, uneven shape? You just know it’s fresh.

Our team don’t just make dough, they live it - perfecting each stage.
The rise. The spin. The melt. The crunch.

Every step, made in-house.
