The £50 voucher from the Forbidden Florist was won by Babs King, she's had two lots of good news this week - her long awaited knee operation is happening (after waiting for six years) and she'll soon be back operating our Coffee Shop when she has her new knee - what a cook!! We cannot wait but in the meantime Babs - enjoy your meal in the beautiful setting of the Forbidden Florist! x x x x

The First Festival of Hope in Carew Pavilion, just after Adam died had a footfall of 7000 and £56,000 was raised to start the fundraising for a new Cancer Day Unit for Withybush Hospital.

Adam's Bucketful of Hope Charity teamed up with the Welsh Blood Service and added a page to the Guinness Book of Records - the most Bone Marrow Donors collected in 24 hours from Pembrokeshire. Well done Pembrokeshire!

We are attempting to break more records in our third Festival of Hope 2024 in and around the Haverfordwest High School site on Saturday August 31st from 10.00am to 6.00pm, where once again we will be teaming up with the Welsh Blood Service to try to set up new records for Blood and Bone Marrow Donations. If you have thought about giving blood now is your opportunity to be a hero and save many lives!

All our cancer patients at one time or another need blood - indeed we never know when we ourselves will need it! So if you've been thinking of giving blood - what better way than in a Festival!

The Blood vans will be meeting the Blood Bikes, the Three Amigos and friends from other clubs at Penblwyn to es**rt the Blood Service into Haverfordwest and with a colourful and noisy fanfare around the one way system will herald the start of the Festival!

We want to thank everyone - Heather Small of MPeople, the wonderful musicians and singers,
food tenders, craft and well being stall holders, the fire fighters, RNLI, army, police, Classic Cars, the fair and Bouncy Castle owners, the wonderful bikers, the Charities and the amazing Buckateers! - without all of you ..... we couldn't do what we do!

We are soooooo excited!! and looking forward to a fantastic family fun day with a very serious message - we need you to give blood! Be a special Hero - save lives!!

Began with a young Adam diagnosed with leukaemia and continued in his name by his family and friends for the benefit of others walking in his path.

I would like to thank everyone of you booking a pitch, table -
And large area in the new Haverfirdwest High School for Adam’s Bucketful of Hope Festival 2024”- a great big “THANK YOU” - you are the people who make a festival come alive!

The support you have shown is tremendous - that and our patients organising and running the charity - our services are safely moving in the right direction of expansion!!

Please call in to see us - we’d like to meet you and thank you over a coffee and cake in our coffee shop in Dew Street.

Without you we would not be here celebrating our 30th anniversary.

My thanks also go to the other charities coming along with large pitches. to excite the children!
The Fire Brigade (with hunky, chunky firemen!!!) and our old friend Stormy Stan with his ship mates and inflatable (double D) Shannon to name a few!!

The music as always in Pembrokeshire will be outstanding!!

The Welsh Blood Service ❤️desperately need Blood and Bone Marrow donations! If my son Adam could have found a Bone Marrow match he would be here today just like the patients that use our venue.

You can be a hero, you could help another Adam needing a transplant or like our Adam - many, many pints of blood that kept him alive for 10 glorious years!!

Please come along and do your bit - you never know………. You may need blood in the future!!!
