The British Tea Museum The British Museum celebrates the customs and manners of British Tea Time.

Journey through the Social HIstory of Tea and discover the rules and behavior of the British tea table. A full Cream Tea is served on antique place settings along with a pot of only the finest Fortnum's and Mason's Earl Grey tea. Students learn how to:

Walk correctly (with a book on their head)
Polite introductions including the techniques of a good Handshake/Curtsey
Appropriate topical conversa

tion starters
How to read tea leaves and the superstitions around tea pouring

In addition to this a Victorian dress up box of clothes is provided for students to have photos taken.
