We are sorry guys but we won’t be open for cinnamon rolls today, the dough I prepped has some how over proved and is no good unfortunately.

Not what we need on a Saturday but it is what it is.

These things happen unfortunately, I feel like this week is really trying to test me 😂

SOMETHING NEW FROM FATBUNS 👀

Over the next few months, we’re trialling FatBuns buffet catering.

We’ve had the idea for a while and we’re finally giving it a go.

DESSERT BUFFETS — from £13.95pp
SAVOURY BUFFETS — from £15.95pp
FULL FATBUNS BUFFETS — from £22.95pp

Think cinnamon rolls, cookies, brownies, dessert pots, focaccia slices, filled focaccia, loaded bagels, loaded sides and plenty more.

Perfect for birthdays, office lunches, baby showers, christenings, parties and events.

Minimum 15 people.

Collection available, with local delivery and setup available at an additional cost.

We’re putting together our first sample menus now, so if you’ve got an event coming up and fancy being one of the first to try a FatBuns buffet, drop us a message.

Send us your date, guest numbers and event type and we’ll take it from there.

Expect some visuals and content over the next few weeks whilst we test out menu ideas 😛

We’ve got some pretty big news… FatBuns is moving ❤️

We’re not quite ready to tell you where just yet 👀 but around February 2027, we’ll be saying goodbye to our little shop in Hartington and starting the next chapter of FatBuns in a brand new location.

This one feels really bittersweet.

Hartington is where FatBuns became what it is today. What started as a small idea has grown into something bigger than we ever expected, and we genuinely couldn’t have done that without Claire and Gary giving us the opportunity to take on this little shop and make it our own.
We’ll always be massively grateful to them for taking a chance on us and giving FatBuns a home to grow from. ❤️

But the truth is… we’ve outgrown it.

Our vision for FatBuns has become much bigger than the space we’re currently working from. We want to bake more, create more, offer more and build the kind of shop we’ve had in our heads for a long time — and to do that, we need more room.

This isn’t us walking away from Hartington because it hasn’t worked.

It’s the complete opposite!

Hartington gave us the chance to prove that FatBuns could work, and every person who has travelled to see us, queued outside, cleared the counter, come back week after week, told their friends about us or supported us online has helped get us to this point.

We really hope all of you who visit us in Hartington will come and see us at the new place too. We promise it’ll be worth the trip. 🥹

There’s still plenty of FatBuns in Hartington before then, so nothing is changing just yet. We’ll be here baking away for the next few months while we get everything ready behind the scenes.

We’ve got a lot planned for this next chapter.

A bigger space. A bigger menu. A bigger team. And a much bigger vision for where FatBuns can go.

We’ll reveal the new location soon… 👀
