⚡️HOLIDAY⚡️

Just a little notice to say we’ll be closed for a couple of weeks as of Thursday 13th August - Wednesday 26th August to enjoy some family time, sunshine and days out.

Thank you to everyone for a wonderful summer so far, we can’t wait to return fresh faced and sun kissed to get the rest of the year underway. Plenty to look forward to including Haltwhistle Music Festival 4-6 Sep and some exciting additions to our menu!

Calling all music lovers and vinyl fans!

Join us outside The Yellow Bird Café on Saturday and Sunday 5/6th September from 2-5pm for our festival vinyl sale.

On Saturday, All About The Rock will be bringing along a fantastic selection of records and merch, and on Sunday we’ll be joined by Lee - who organises organises record fairs in at Saltburn-by-the-Sea, Seaham, and Barnard Castle - and the owner of Cheeky Monkey Records.

Whether you’re searching for a favourite album, discovering something new, or just love the magic of browsing through vinyl, come along and have a rummage.

⚡️HOT HINNY CHICKEN SANDWICH⚡️

We didn’t wanna but in the end, we did have to succumb to the hot honey wave. Watcha gonna do?!

But naturally, we did not skimp on anything… So we have our Signature YBC Fried Chicken (which is Gluten Free!), tossed in a smoky and spicy house rub, enrobed in melty Monterey Jack and doused in our homemade Hot Honey in a toasted Brioche Bun with our House Pickles, Mayonnaise, Iceberg and served with Fries. Sweet, smoky and spicy… more tingly than hot ☺️How’s that?

This is a prototype for things to come and are very limited, with only a couple available to order on the website right now - so whatcha waiting for?!
