We’ve officially handed over the keys to The White Lion.

A massive thank you to everyone for all of your support over the last 3 years. We’ve made so many memories and met so many wonderful people!

Before we were running the pub, we were drinking in it for 15 years – and we can’t wait to be back again as customers, having a drink and seeing some familiar faces!

Please keep supporting your local pubs – they’re so important for the community, and The White Lion is the last one in Sible. Let’s keep it going!

So, as promised, The White Lion is reopening for another huge World Cup night!

After the atmosphere on Saturday, we can’t wait to do it all again with you. Let’s get the pub packed, get behind the boys, and hopefully book our place in the World Cup Final! ❤️🤍

🦁WOW! What a night 🎉

It was so lovely to see so many of our regulars, some new faces, and plenty of old ones too. It really was one for the books!

To top it off, it was one of the busiest nights we’ve ever had! The atmosphere was amazing from start to finish, and seeing everyone enjoying themselves and cheering England on made it a night we’ll never forget.

Over the last three years, The White Lion hasn’t just been a pub – it’s become one big family. We’ve shared so many laughs and celebrations together, and that’s something we will never forget!

One thing we’ve always been proud of is that The White Lion has been somewhere anyone could walk into. Whether you fancied a quiet pint on your own, came with friends, or walked in knowing nobody, there was always someone to chat to and a friendly face waiting. Together, we’ve created such a welcoming atmosphere, and that’s all because of this amazing community. Every single one of you helped make The White Lion what it has become and we’re incredibly proud to have been at the heart of it.

A huge thank you to everyone who has supported us over the last three years. Whether you’ve been in every week, popped in every now and then, or joined us for one of our events - thank you!!!

A massive thank you as well to our amazing bar staff, both past and present. You all worked incredibly hard, especially last night, and you were absolutely brilliant. We couldn’t have done it without you. ❤️

From Cindy, Neil and all of The White Lion family… thank you for the memories, the friendships, the laughter and all the support over the last three years. What a journey it’s been. ❤️

We’re not quite finished yet though…

We’ll see you all Wednesday night for the England vs Argentina semi-final, and hopefully we’ll all be back together again for the World Cup Final on Sunday! 🏆⚽

And don’t worry… we don’t think this is the final goodbye from The White Lion. 🦁❤️

Firstly, we just want to say THANK YOU ❤️

Last night was officially one of the busiest night we’ve ever had at The White Lion! Between our Tropical Leaving Party and England’s incredible win, the pub was absolutely packed, and seeing so many familiar faces celebrating together meant the world to us.

The atmosphere was unforgettable, and we couldn’t have asked for a better send-off. Thank you to every single person who came along, had a drink, danced, sang, cheered England on and made it such a special night. 🌴🍻

But… we’re not quite finished yet… 👀
