🛵💥 WHEN SCOOTER LUCK STRIKES…! 💥🛵

We had a visit from some of the brilliant 1066 Scooter Club* today, so obviously there was only one thing to do…

📸 GET THE CAMERAS OUT!

The lads were getting themselves sorted, after their delicious lunches and coffees, looking suitably cool and freshly emerged from the make-up room (obviously! 😂), when who should roll up…

🛵 ANOTHER LONE SCOOTER RIDER!

Nothing to do with the club. Complete stranger to the lads already here. Just one bloke, one scooter, and absolutely no idea what was about to happen!

Well… you know us.

“Get in the picture!” 😂

And just like that, a random scooter rider became an honorary member of the 1066 gang for five minutes!

That’s what we love about The Village Shop — great food, great coffee, great people… and occasionally, completely random scooter-based friendships! ❤️

Thanks for dropping in, boys — you certainly brought some style to Upper Dicker today!

🎄It’s that time of year again when we start preparing for Christmas!

🎊Come and join us at The Village Shop, for an afternoon of creative, festive fun.

🎄Under the guidance of trained florist, Ellie from Anthologie Floristry, you will each create your own beautiful, bespoke luxury Christmas wreath using the finest fresh Nordic and English pine and foliage, then adorn your wreath with extra fresh and dried decorations and finish it off with a beautiful ribbon 🎀

☕️🫖Treat yourself to a festive hot chocolate, freshly ground coffee or really get into the festive spirit and have a glass of w**e or fizz 🍾🥂

🌯🥪Hot deli, snacks and our in-house baked cakes and slices will also be available to enjoy during the
workshop🧁🍰

Another successful musical bingo evening in aid of St Wilfrid’s Hospice. Thanks to everyone who supported it and to Penny, Kath and Libby for being the wonderful Bingo Belles. Thanks to Steph and Chris for hosting at The Village Shop at Upper Dicker and to Lynne for helping me. Judging by the singing everyone seemed to have a good time!

In total we raised £527 all of which will go directly to the hospice to continue their amazing work.
