📣 WE’RE HIRING – 2 POSITIONS AVAILABLE – IMMEDIATE START
We’re looking for two experienced team members to join our lovely team at Graze at Haigh, Haigh Woodland Park.
We have regular part-time hours available and are looking for two friendly, reliable and flexible people to share approximately 5 days of work across the week, including weekdays and weekends.
This is a varied, hands-on role and our team members work across all areas of the café, including:
☕ Front of house & customer service
🍳 Food preparation & cooking
💻 Taking orders and confidently using our till system
🔑 Opening and closing the café
🧹 Keeping the café clean, organised and well stocked
🤝 Working independently as well as part of our team
Availability
Applicants must have good flexibility across both weekdays and weekends.
Our shifts extend both during and outside normal school hours, so applicants need to be available for complete shifts rather than only between school drop-off and collection times.
This is particularly important because there will be occasions when you are responsible for working in the café independently for all or part of the day, including opening or closing.
Weekend availability is essential, as the positions are being recruited to cover hours that include both Saturday and Sunday.
Hours & pay
We currently have approximately 5 days per week to divide between two new team members, with the exact split depending on availability and experience.
There will also be opportunities for additional hours to cover holidays, sickness and busier periods.
💷 Pay: National Minimum Wage (age dependent)
As an outdoor visitor destination, our quieter winter opening and staffing levels can occasionally vary depending on weather and customer demand, so some flexibility around hours is required.
Who we’re looking for
Previous café, hospitality or food-service experience is strongly preferred.
We particularly want to hear from people who are confident working independently and are comfortable with food preparation, cooking, customer service and tills, or who have experience opening and closing a hospitality business.
Most importantly, we need people who are reliable, flexible, friendly, confident and happy to get stuck into every aspect of working in a busy café.
