Looking for something fresh, colourful and full of flavour?

Our bulgur wheat, Tenderstem broccoli and goji berry salad is served with a delicious sumac, maple and peanut dressing.

Nutty, sweet and gently tangy, with plenty of colour and texture in every bite.

Served with cold braised fennel, orange mayo and capers, it’s fresh, full of flavour and perfect for a light start to your meal.

We are absolutely delighted to announce that Waterside Bistro has been named a finalist in the Café/Bistro of the Year category at The Food Awards Scotland 2026.

This recognition means so much to us and is a wonderful reflection of the hard work, passion and dedication of our entire team.
From our talented chefs creating every dish with care and attention to detail to our front of house team making sure every guest feels welcome and looked after, this achievement belongs to all of them.

A huge thank you also goes to every one of our guests who visits us, supports us, recommends us and leaves a kind review.
Your support means more than you know. 🧡

We are incredibly proud to represent Haddington and to have our name among the finalists.🥰🥰
