Our Head Roaster Lewis is getting married.

If you’ve been into the roastery recently, you’ll have heard all about Part One: the traditional Indian wedding, which was lovely. Now it’s time for Part Two: the English wedding, and we are all heading up to Scotland to celebrate with him.

Yes, all of us. Yes, we are actually taking three whole days off.
For those of you who’ve been here a while, you’ll know we’re usually found somewhere between the roaster and the espresso machine seven days a week, so this feels fairly historic.

While we’re up in Scotland eating canapés and pretending we know how to dance, the brilliant Kaytee will be looking after you in the café. She’ll have everything you need. Please be nice to her. She is an angel for doing this and we appreciate her enormously.

What we won’t be doing for three days: roasting. The roaster is taking a little breather alongside us. ☕💤
We’ll be back shortly after. Slightly worse for ware but ready to get the roasters fired up again.

Peach Iced Tea. Iced Latte. Iced Americano. Iced Matcha. Four reasons to sit outside and do absolutely nothing productive.

We’ve been busy creating our little corner of calm. Reclaimed pallet seating, cushions made from our Brazilian coffee sacks, and just enough sunshine to make you forget the world exists.

Behind every roast, every origin story, and every carefully packed order is us lot.
The friendly coffee nerds you’ll find at the roastery, whether you’re popping in for a cup, picking up a bag, or just coming for a chat.

We’re a small team, but we care enormously about what we do. From sourcing beans we genuinely believe in, to making sure every cup we serve is one we’re proud of, it all comes back to the people in these photos.

If you haven’t been down to the roastery yet, come find us. The machine is always on, the roaster’s usually running, and we’d love to see you ☕

Fancy another one? Guatemala Blue Ayarza 🇬🇹

Another fully washed but this one’s all about balance. Think smooth milk chocolate up front, lifted by green apple and lime, with a soft vanilla sweetness running through it.
Grown high (1400–2000m) and washed for clarity, it’s clean, bright, and easy to get along with, the kind of coffee that works just as well first thing in the morning as it does mid-afternoon when you need a reset.

The region itself is pretty wild. Ayarza sits around a deep blue crater lake, formed when two volcanoes collapsed in on themselves. Dramatic landscape, cool climate, exactly the sort of place that produces coffees with this kind of structure and freshness.

Brew it how you like, but it really shines when you let those lighter notes come through.
We have been loving it as filter.

New Coffee Alert! Ethiopia Konga Yirgacheffe 🇪🇹

This is one for people who like their coffee light and a bit more expressive.
Bright pear and lemon straight away, softened by a gentle marzipan sweetness and a light floral finish that lingers without getting in the way. Clean, precise, and exactly what you’d hope for from a fully washed Ethiopian at this altitude (1900–2100m).

Konga, a small kebele in Yirgacheffe, has built a serious reputation over the years, consistently producing some of the most sought-after coffees in the world. This is a proper example of why.

Best enjoyed as a filter.

Not everyone drinks coffee the same way, and that’s exactly how it should be.

Some of you are just getting started.
