What a guy..

Logan comes to my van every single time he sees me outside his house, or at the car boot at Morrisons. He’s such a polite boy, which is a pleasure to see.

I love the fact he’s cleaning his area up, I love the fact he’s been recognised by our local authority and beyond and I love the fact the new local council leader is rewarding him, it makes me feel proud to be from such a great little town.

We have so many negative stories about Grimsby, here’s the best positive one I’ve seen this year!

Licensing applied for within North Lincolnshire area.

For too long, we’ve refused events from as close as Great Limber to Brigg, Barton and Scunthorpe.

That will change from 2027, we will not be refusing them anymore (subject to availability).

I for one was mortified to see the video on this, and the level of policing in the uk.

This country is never going to be the same as we all knew many years ago, growing up in a safe place, being able to roam around the streets, trust our local police officers.

I’m really not anti police, but I can totally see why people are.

Face down in gravel, dragged across a garden, placed in handcuffs and read his rights without an ounce of evidence or questioning, for him to then fall unconscious. All whilst he repeatedly said he can’t breathe and he’s been stabbed.

I hope these officers face jail time along with the murderer.

The worst thing I’ve ever seen and the most appalling piece of police work I have witnessed!

Spread this boys face so the government can’t forget it and brush this under the carpet.

Picnic in the park .. people’s park

The summer holidays are now on the horizon, and we have our annual Sunday treats along with live music on people’s park in Grimsby.

A great place to go, sit on the grass, grab an ice cream and relax to some chill music!

Organised by The Culture house, we’ve supported this event for a number of years.

We are nearing the end of these school holidays, and what a week it’s been!

We’ve been blessed with the most amazing weather, we have honestly been so lucky!

Cleethorpes has been busy, Tattershall has been busy, the sun 100% brings people out!

We’ve worked tirelessly between us, we’ve not had a van off the road at all through the holidays, we’ve had a couple of issues we’ve fought along the way but all in down time, without affecting work. This is what I aim to achieve going forward, making the most use out of the vans we have.

When we had 6 vans, each driver had 1/2 days a week off. That meant that we had vans parked up everyday not earning. This year we’ve lowered our van number and spread the work out between drivers to ensure the vans are never off the road, and so far .. so good!

We know we have struggled to get around all the rounds the last week, truth is, we live by the beach, on a hot day .. hardly anyone stays home, meaning the street work drops off slightly.

We are out again tomorrow, Morrisons car boot and Cleethorpes boating lake. I’m making a day of it also by calling into Keelby and Laceby tomorrow afternoon, Laceby acres, freshney Green and west marsh & the willows /wybers, but we will be totally off the road Monday, to restock, steam clean the vans, and be ready to start again from Tuesday (weather dependant) 🥳

Thanks again .. for your continued support, we all really do appreciate it. I’m just a local lad with a vision, and my drivers are all friends who enjoy putting smiles on your faces, and earning a few quid at the same time! Humble 🥰
