The Little Terns are back!

This year around 40 pairs have nested in the dunes just North of the cafe, with 12 already fledged and rest will soon. Plus there have been around 400 feeding in the waters nearby.
They need very particular conditions to nest and are quite rare so we are lucky to have them here.
The RSPB are protecting the site and are looking for volunteers to help them. If you can spare some time in Great Yarmouth please contact [email protected]

The marine bird is threatened by high tides and beachgoers, but volunteers give a helping hand.
