This week will see the return of CRAB SANDWICH THURSDAY! 😁🥳❤ We've done these sandwiches each summer for the past couple of years, and they're always popular.

A mix of fresh white and brown crab meat, lemon mayo, Lettuce, and Cucumber.

Available from our sandwich fridge from around 10am. We do reccommend you pre-order & pre-pay to avoid disappointment, and we'll keep them back for you to collect when convenient on Thursday.

Choose from our handmade bread: White or Granary

£6.50

You can also request a white baguette for an additional 75p (subject to availability).

Our event about the data centre at the church in Gt. Torrington on Tuesday is looking like it's going to be an international event. We have an American speaker and a mexican photojournalist recording it. Bring your friends and family to get a good audience to show this monster cannot go on prime agricultural land that sustains us.
Doors open from 6:30 it's free but please bring a small donation to add to church funds, pop into the bottle as you walk in.

Devon Yeast Cakes - Fresh Batch in the shop for tomorrow!

We have been making these the same way since 1981, using Mary's Aunt Em's recipe. It is a simple enriched dough, with cherries, sultanas, currants, and a hint of mixed spice.

We love it lightly toasted (be warned, it burns very quickly!), and spread with butter - and cheese if we're feeling extra hungry 😍

Its a perfect breakfast, or mid morning/afternoon snack - kids love it too!
