Following the fantastic turnout for Scotland’s first World Cup match, we’ll be opening late again on Friday 19th to screen Scotland vs Morocco!

As kick-off falls within our licensed hours, children are welcome to join us.

We are excited to announce our badminton and pickleball court is now open for hire, offering you the perfect space to play your favourite sports. For just £10 an hour, you can book the court and get access to all the equipment you need, including racquets, bats, shuttlecocks, and balls. Whether you are a beginner or an experienced player, this is a great opportunity to improve your skills, get a bit exercise and have a great time.

Booking Process

Booking is simple and quick. Check our calendar on the venue hire page to see the time slots that aren't already booked out then send a text or WhatsApp message to 07936 389071 with your preferred date and time. We will confirm your booking and provide any additional details you need. This direct communication makes it easy to plan your sessions without delays.

As the excitement builds for Scotland's first World Cup game since 1998, we're delighted to confirm that we will be screening the match on the big screen!

📅 14th June
🕐 Bar opens at 1:00am
⚽️ Game starts at 2am, (no admittance after game starts).

All over-16s are welcome, even if you don't have a ticket.

We'll have:
🥓 Bacon rolls available to purchase
🥐 Sausage rolls available to purchase
☕ Tea and coffee on sale for those who are driving

A huge thank you to all the volunteers from across our village who came together today to install our new badminton/pickleball court. Your time, skills, hard work and support are greatly appreciated and have helped provide another fantastic amenity for our community.

We would also like to thank Moorfoot Community Council for their generous microgrant, which made this project possible. This new facility provides an accessible sporting opportunity for all age groups and will be a valuable asset for our village for years to come.

⚽ The Countdown Is On – World Cup Opening Match!

The World Cup is almost here, and we're opening the bar at Middleton Village Hall specially for Scotland's opening game against Haiti.

Sunday 14th June
Bar open from 1:00am – 4:00am
Bacon rolls on sale throughout the night.

To help us gauge numbers, this will be a ticketed event, although tickets are completely free. Tickets can be collected from Tuckshop, the bar, or from any committee member.

We need to make sure there is enough support to justify our volunteers giving up their sleep to open the bar in the early hours, so if you plan on coming along, please pick up a ticket as soon as possible. Tickets will be available at the door but please let us know in advance if you can't pick up before hand.

Come along, support Scotland, enjoy a bacon roll, and help create a great atmosphere for the opening match of the World Cup!
