Nothing we haven't said already in our previous post but again a huge thank you for all the support we received since our announcement.
Saturday was our last service and we are now closed for good.
We will take a well deserved break and we will put all our lovely furniture, equipement and decor available for purchase. So watch this space, you will have the opportunity to have a bit of Antiques café in your house.
End of a chapter for us, but still plenty more to go.

Thank you all so much for the overwhelming love and support we received following our recent post. It means the world to us!

As you may already know, our delicious coffee beans are available for purchase. If you're interested, please don't hesitate to send us a message on social media or drop an email on [email protected] to place your order.
Please place your order by Tuesday, the 19th the latest, followed by prepayment (details will be shared).

1kg coffee beans: £22.50
Box of 6 (6x1kg): £112.50 - Buy 6 for the price of 5!
Decaf also available for £12.50 (already ground – 227g)

Coffee beans can be kept in the freezer to maintain their freshness.

Having seen so many posts lately about small businesses shutting down, it is with heavy heart that we need to let you know that Antiques Café is following that very sad trend.
We opened our beautiful café in early 2021, with the ambition to create in Godalming a space where people can come together and be part of a community. Unfortunately, shortly after, a wave of large coffee chains opened on the high street, coupled with the inflation and the ongoing energy crisis. Despite our best efforts, it's time for us to recognise that we can’t continue fighting what we cannot control.
We are extremely proud of what we've built and express immense gratitude to our amazing and loyal customers over the last few years. And cannot stress that enough. You have all been a pleasure to serve! Antiques Café will officially close its doors on Saturday 30th December. We hope you will continue supporting us until then..
Please also consider supporting your local businesses as Godalming wouldn't be the same without its independent shops, which add character to our town.

Open next week Tues 19th to Fri 22nd Dec
8am to 2.30pm
Sat 23rd, 9am to 2.30pm

We will open on Boxing day 10am to 2.30pm
Then Wed 27th to Sat 30th
9am to 2.30pm.

From Tues 5th Dec, we will operate with slightly different opening hours.
We will open from 8am to 2.30pm, Tues to Fri and 9am to 2.30pm on Sat.

This year, we will open from the 26th Dec to Sat 30th Dec from 9am to 2.30pm.

Two Christmas wreath workshops will take place at the café on Sat 2nd Dec & Wed 6th Dec.
2hrs workshop with the very talented , from 10am to 12pm.

Tickets can be purchased directly at the café for 60£ per person or via eventbrite (link in bio - booking fees will apply). A hot drink and pastry will be served upon arrival.

Only 8 people per worshop.

On Wednesday, we are turning 2, can you believe it!
This past year has been tough on most of us with the cost of living crisis, so we feel so privileged to have such loyal & lovely customers.
We converted what used to be an Antiques shop into our lovely café, which was not an easy job. We wanted to build more than just another cafe in Godalming, we wanted to provide a space to the locals with a real community feel.

As a thank you, we will provide some lovely shortbread biscuits to our customers on Wed 10th, so make sure to pop in.
A very little gesture considering how grateful we are for all of your continuous support.
So from Markus, Lillie and the team at Antiques Café, we would like to say a big thank you to all of you.
