☀️ IMPORTANT CAFE UPDATE ☀️

With temperatures of 33°C tomorrow and 34°C the following day, we just wanted to give you a little heads-up that Ava’s Café will likely be closing earlier than usual over the next two days.

Those of you who know the café well will know that we have a bit of a problem when it gets this hot! 🥵

Unfortunately, our windows don’t open, so there’s no way for us to get a breeze through the café, and because the windows get full sun for pretty much the entire day, the temperature inside can become VERY, VERY hot.

As much as we love seeing you all, we also need to look after ourselves and our staff during these extreme temperatures. ❤️

So, if you’re planning on popping in for lunch, please make sure you come in a little earlier than usual to make sure you don’t miss out! 🥪🥗

Recently, we were asked what vegan options we had available at Ava’s Café, and it made us realise we were missing something fresh, colourful and full of flavour. So, we got to work!

Introducing our brand-new Chickpea Couscous – now available as one of our lunch bases. ✨

Made with fluffy couscous, chickpeas, fresh vegetables and herbs, it’s the perfect light and refreshing choice for summer. ☀️

The best part? You can make it your own! Choose from our fresh salad bar to add your favourite vegetables, and if you’d like an extra burst of flavour, why not finish it with our lemon and olive oil dressing? 🍋

Not only is it 100% vegan, but it’s also a delicious option for anyone looking for a lighter lunch packed with fresh, vibrant flavours.

🥓 You lot certainly love your bacon… and we’re not complaining! 😍

Our breakfast menu has been so popular this morning that we sold out of bacon within the first 30 minutes of serving! 🤯

Thankfully, the amazing team at Nick Brown Butchers came to the rescue with a speedy delivery of fresh bacon (and a few extra goodies while they were at it! 😉).

They really did save our bacon! 🥓👏
