It may be messy, its certainly trash, but my lord is this BBQ bacon burger the absolute dream. ⁣

Our handmade seitan beef patty and smoky bacon rashers, juicy pickles, melted cheese and rich bbq sauce in a toasted brioche bun is every vegan dream (if you dream of burgers that is 😉). ⁣

Our carefully crafted menu combines the comfort with the contemporary. This being the comfort 😁. ⁣

Oh hey welcome to February. Veganuary is over and all the new things you got into as a new and excited vegan have been ripped from the supermarket shelves because they just want your money and don’t care about you and your journey..⁣

A scrummy, chewy flapjack base, layered with house-made tangy apple and blackcurrant jam and a toasty almond and oat crumble. Add some stewed winter fruits and finish with a pouring of vanilla custard for that visit-to-grandma authenticity. ⁣

Our new recipe pesto gnocchi brings a taste of the Mediterranean to the High Peak. ⁣
Soft potato dumplings, peppery rocket, sun dried tomato, toasted pine nuts, parmesan shavings and a healthy drizzle of basil pesto. ⁣

The classic vegan burger. This is how we do it. ⁣

Reject all heavily processed proteins packed with salt, sugars, fats, colours and preservatives 💪. Good for the Veganuary crowd, no one else. ⁣
⁣
Each handmade beef-style patty is a blend of red lentils, herbs, spices and wheat gluten to give the chewy, ‘meaty’ texture of the things we used to eat. Pan fry till ready. Add some ketchup, mustard, green shreds, pickles and cheese. Build it up in a top class roll. Voilà. ⁣

Merry Crimbo one and all!

Just a reminder that Pepino Deli will be open on Christmas Day between 10-12pm for hot drinks, snacks and cakey bits for absolutely anyone who wants to come down and spend a bit of Xmas morning with our stupid faces. There is no charge for food or drink as we continue to receive charitable donations from lovely Glossop people ❤️.

So come and say hello, tell your friends and anyone who you think might be alone on Xmas day cos that’s a rubbish thing to happen to anyone.
