We want to share something openly and honestly with you.
Right now, finances at Pear Tree Farm are tight.
Our feed bill for December alone was just over £900. We also have a £55,000 loan on the land that we now need to start repaying, and we currently owe around £4,000 to the groundworks company who helped make the sanctuary safer and more accessible for the animals.
None of this is shared to alarm you or to ask from a place of panic. We simply believe in being transparent with the people who support and care about this space.
Pear Tree Farm was created to be a place of compassion, safety, and respect for all species. A place where animals are seen as individuals, not commodities. A place where people can come, meet them, and experience their gentleness, curiosity, and emotional lives for themselves.
That vision hasn’t changed. But keeping that space going comes with very real, very practical costs.
If you are able to support us right now, any contribution, no matter how small, genuinely helps us keep going and keep caring: https://peartreefarmanimalsanctuary.beaconforms.com/form/2e788c4e
If you’re not in a position to give, please know that sharing this post or telling others about us helps more than you might realise.
Thank you for being part of this community and for helping us keep this little corner of kindness going.
With so much gratitude,
The Pear Tree Farm team 🤍
