โHello Everyone,
Iโm pleased to give you an update with dates to the next stage of the refurbishment. The function suite is progressing along nicely and will be completed by the end of June. This will mean we have the Snug, Restaurant and Function suite complete and available for use.
The Lounge and back of house will close for refurbishment. This will mean a new kitchen for our wonderful team of chefs, new centralised keg storage and of course the new lounge and lastly and frankly (most needed!) new toilets.
From the 4th July we will not be selling food in the hotel at all. This will be the situation for at least 8 weeks. We hope not to come across many issues, however we can never tell what setbacks/problems we will come across so this could be longer.
We will use all areas of the hotel where we can including the Function suite, (when not booked for events) this can be used as a lounge bar.
Therefore, on the 4th of July we will have the last hurrah of the Crookston Lounge. We will be using the leftovers from the kitchen (only kidding), some complementary drinks and some music to celebrate the last day of the Hotel Lounge. We will give you further information on this shortly.
In the meantime, Thank you for your support throughout this prolonged refurbishment. I know it has been a while but believe me, Gillian, Charles, Linzi, Jamie Lee and the Team are also looking forward to the completion of the entire hotel...
