My name is Marina and I’m baker/cake decorator based in Southside of Glasgow, Scotland.

I started baking just as a hobby but with time it became more of a passion for me. Since then I've graduated from Glasgow City of College with NC Bakery, HNC Patisserie, HND Professional Cookery. I also have Intermediate Food Hygiene Certificate. All my cake are freshly made from scratch. Each of the cakes is individually priced depending on its size, flavour and decorations required. A non-refund

able deposit of £15 has to be made in order to secure your cake booking. Please order your cake at least two weeks in advance. At the moment COLLECTIONS ONLY.

Recently, left a comment on one of my posts saying she had travelled across an ocean for my cakes.

Naturally, I was curious and wanted to know more 😁

Of course,𝙄 𝙃𝘼𝘿 to ask where exactly she had travelled from and how she even found my little stall in the first place! 😅

It turns out she’s from Virginia 🇺🇸 and had been wanting to visit Scotland for years. While planning places to visit in Glasgow, she came across Barras Market. Looking through different stalls online, she found my cake stall and followed my page nearly 𝟐 𝙔𝙀𝘼𝙍𝙎 𝘼𝙂𝙊 🤯 so she wouldn't forget to stop by when she finally made the trip 🥹

I know Barras Markett attracts visitors from all over the world, but I never expected my little cake stall to be one of the places someone genuinely wanted to visit while in Glasgow. It still blows my mind! 🤯

I feel incredibly 𝙝𝙤𝙣𝙤𝙪𝙧𝙚𝙙 to have been a tiny part of someone's Scotland trip 🥹😍🥰
