This Saturday join us at The Courtyard Pantry (2 Wester Common) for our fortnightly Unity Market ☕

We will be serving up delicious brunch inspiration like çılbır (Turkish eggs), made even better with ingredients from our trusted suppliers at Corrie Farm 🐤 Come down, do your shopping, enjoy a coffee or a slice of cake in our café, and pick up some treats for a relaxing weekend brunch in.

👀 We have also expanded our provisions section, including our smoky chili crisp which is perfect drizzled over eggs or to elevate your own brunch recipes at home.

Meet okra, one of the stars of our Saturday Market 🤸

Also known as bhindi, this vibrant green pod is packed with fibre and vitamin C.

It is commonly used around the world, from West African stews to South Asian bhajis, like the comforting bhindi bhaji we have cooked up today 🌱

Okra is affordable, sustainable, and brilliant in quick weekday dishes. Pick some up at our fortnightly Saturday markets (next one is Saturday the 13th 🍴) and try out some bhindi bhaji at home! 😊

We are pleased to announce an expansion of our cost‑of‑living support through a new partnership with Community Employability Advisor James from Jobs & Business Glasgow.

James will now be based in our Community Hub at The Courtyard Pantry every Tuesday morning from 10.00am to 11.30am, offering drop‑in employability support.

You will be able to access guidance on job searching, skills development, free industry‑specific training opportunities, CV building and interview preparation.

No need for an appointment. Drop in and have an informal chat with James on Tuesday mornings for employability support.

Even though we are a small organisation, we intentionally seek opportunities to work with similarly sized local businesses, like Glasgow Mushroom Company and Forn Bakery, to supply our market, to support the creation of community wealth-building practices.
