The Coia family opened their first café in Dennistoun in 1928, and ever since then Coia’s Café has been a favourite meeting place for local people, both young and old. The ever popular fish and chips and various traditional Italian dishes are all in our menu – Pastas, steaks, langostines and a fine selection of pizzas as well as many new dishes to tantalise the taste buds. We still pride ourselves in four basics:- friendly attitude, politeness, cleanliness and high quality food.

Crispy sea bass croquettes with smoked aubergine purée, our own tartare sauce, topped with 24 month aged DOP Parmigiano Reggiano, and micro herbs.

Cozze Provenzale
Scottish mussels steamed in a Provençal style sauce of white wine, garlic and shallots, with cherry tomatoes, olives, capers and chilli, served with freshly baked focaccia.

Halibut Scottato al B***o Bianco
Pan-seared halibut with creamy leek purée, sautéed leeks, mussels, crispy pancetta, fresh herbs, and a white wine and lemon butter sauce.

Maiale Croccante alla Nduja
Crispy pork belly served on a Parmesan polenta with nduja, grilled baby corn, buttered Savoy cabbage, roasted shallots, and a Marsala pork jus.

Linguine “Surf & Turf”
Linguine with chargrilled beef strips and king prawns tossed with garlic, butter, white wine, lemon, asparagus, and 24 month aged DOP Parmigiano Reggiano.
