Our idea at Down to Earth is brought on by the lack of fresh locally sourced, organic food/cold-pressed juices. We are proud to say that we will be the first all organic restaurant in Glasgow. Our goal is not just to sell juices and food but to educate each customer who comes through the door and give them the insight we feel is vital for optimised health. Next year we will obtain planning permiss

ion to build a greenhouse where which we will grow all our own organic produce. Along with the development of two wind turbines, this will give an immaculate stance on our dedication and faith to this sector and sustainable living. We believe in supporting local, regional food and building relationships with independent farmers and suppliers to ensure we know where your food comes from. All fish, poultry and meat sourced is local and wild. We support the concept of use, recycle, reuse. That’s why all of our packaging is fully biodegradable, the wood we use in-store is reclaimed or recycled and everything is 100% Organic.

WE'RE HIRING - Cook / Kitchen Team

Down to Earth, Partick

Looking for a reliable cook to join our small kitchen team. We do brunch, burgers and real food made from scratch - it's prep and assembly, not fine dining.

The deal:
- Thu-Sun only, 10am-5pm
- No late nights. Ever.
- 3 days off every week
- Daytime hours in a good wee kitchen

What we need:
- Someone who can actually cook
- Comfortable on a grill and brunch line
- Happy working independently
- Doesn't need hand-holding

£14/hr - Partick, Glasgow
