Travel advice for cakes.

Hey, just a note for cakes being collected over the summer.

Please ensure you collect in the morning or later afternoon/evening, due to the high temperatures.

Please place the cake in the box in the foot well of the passenger side. Ensure you have the air conditioning on to keep the cake cool. DO NOT place cakes on laps or the seats in the car.

When moving the cake, both hands need to be placed underneath the board and cake must be carried straight, not against your body and do not tilt the cake while carrying.

Some cakes are on round boards in a square box, please do not cover from the corners of the box.

Cakes will be kept in a cool place out of the heat. Once collected please keep cakes in a cool place out of direct sun light.

Please do not put fondant cakes in the fridge, as this will make the Fondant sticky.

Buttercream cakes can be placed in the fridge, but be mindful of the Fondant covered boards becoming sticky. Please ensure cake is put the fridge at least an hour before you wish to cut/eat the cake.

I can not take any responsibility for damaged cakes once it has left my house.
