Laura's Cakes Laura's Cake Company specialises in cakes and cupcakes for all occasions.

My love of baking began in 2014 when I graduated university and started working as an assistant manager and baker at a cafe/restaurant in Musselburgh. I bake a range of different cakes, traybakes and scones on a daily basis and enjoy experimenting with different flavours and techniques.

Incase you missed it on stories the cake shed will next be open the weekend of the 29th August, iv got a really busy 2 weeks with weddings and other celebration orders before then. Il be able to open more regularly September onwards 🥳🎂

Thank you so much to everyone who visited today, liked and shared posts etc! You’ve sold me out of 2 days worth of stock today! (Apart from 2 x caramel shortbread, 2x Oreo cookie millionaire and a gluten free cake!)
I was a bit nervous about opening today having been closed for so long due to weddings/other orders and needing the new shed but it’s been super busy.
I’m just debating when next to open, next weekend or the last weekend in August! Any input welcome! (Or requests!)

The brand new cake shed is open again tomorrow and Sunday from 8:45!
If you don’t already please follow me on instagram as I post up to date stories about what’s left 😊
My address is Viewfield, Abbotsview Dr, Galashiels, Scotland, TD1 3SL.
You can pay via cash (correct money as no change given) or via the QR code to pay by card. There will be a calculator in the shed to help with any sums, please help yourself to a bag if needed. All ingredients are listed on the bakes.
If coming by car please don’t block any neighbours drives.

A scalloped iced 2 tier wedding cake from a couple of weekends ago delivered to Dalkeith country park, using lovely dried flowers from scentflowers.galashiels. Raspberry and white chocolate and salted caramel tiers. This has been such a popular style!
