The staff will tell you i like my cuppa tea strong and that will be the strongest thing i’ll be drinking until end of my shift tonight. I’ve been drinking out of my Scotland mug all day. Can you spot the Scotland top on the mug u will be wearing tonight! That’s it folks the start of the last batch of world champion butteries🏆👨🏻‍🍳 I’ve absolutely loved the last 8years as world champion but it’s time to give someone else chance😜but I’ll have my say on who becomes the next champ as a judge and I have high standards 🤣
I’d also like to say a massive thank you to Martin and Lesley Gillespie for all their help over the years promoting the humble buttery and probably one of my best customers🤣🤣🤣
But don’t worry folks I’m not about to stop making butteries, you will still be able to get them at Whytes of New Pitsligo and at Ellon and Inverurie farmers markets they maybe won’t be reigning world champion ones but they’re still world class and multi award winning 🤣🤣🤣👨🏻‍🍳

So the World Cup kicks off tonight, so why not treat yourself to the special this month. Also for a bit of fun running a competition of guess how many chocolate footballs are in the tub. So why not have a guess next time you are in the chippy. Winner gets the tub of chocolate footballs and a £25 Gold’n’crispy chip shop voucher. Money raised is towards New Pitsligo Legion, where of course we are showing all the Scotland games live on the big screen. Let’s hope we show more than 3 Scotland games!! Can you tell i love my ⚽️

World Cup Special. So tried to think of something slightly different, so came up with the McScotland Cheeseburger Supper. So it’s a fusion of a good old American Cheeseburger with a slice of Scotland in the shape of a battered haggis slice, along with a wee nod to Scott McTominay. As he set us on our way to the World Cup
that night last November with an unforgettable overhead kick, i thought as he plays his league football in Italy i’ve added in some Macaroni Bites and a slice of tomato as apparently that’s one of his favourite foods, just for good measure.
