The Falcon Inn is within the historic village of Fotheringhay, famous for bearing the scars of a former castle where Mary, Queen of Scots met her premature death in 1587. The pub overlooks the fifteenth century Church of St Mary & All Saints on the river Nene.

On Monday, Madison had the pleasure of being invited by Lee Barron MP to visit Parliament, alongside representatives from other local pubs.

Kindly organised and led by the British B**r & Pub Association, the visit provided a valuable opportunity to meet with industry experts and politicians to discuss the challenges facing hospitality.

Throughout the day, Maddy took the opportunity to share her experiences and advocate for the changes urgently needed to secure the future of the hospitality sector, with a particular focus on the challenges facing rural, independent pubs, while proudly highlighting the vital role they play in their communities and the importance of ensuring they have the support needed to survive and thrive.
