Noisy? Absolutely.
Incorrigible? Without question.
Disruptive? Frequently.
Inappropriate? Occasionally... perhaps more than occasionally.

But would Tuesday night be the same without them? Not a chance.

A huge congratulations to the Beaver Boys on taking victory at another packed Mosset Quiz Night. In front of 122 quizzers, they edged home by a single point โ€” and as every quizzer knows, a win by one point still goes in the record books!

What continues to make our quiz special is the mix of people it brings together. This week we welcomed teams from Germany, Canada and, of course, the far-flung corners of Elgin. The German contingent may have received a little assistance identifying Cheryl Cole's mystery voice, but that's the generous team spirit we've come to know and love on a Tuesday night.

My sincere thanks to everyone who comes along each week, whether you're battling for the top spot or simply enjoying the mediocre patter.

Forres Academy class of 2026 - Amelie, Emma, Euan, Liam & Leo from our FOH team being waited on tonight for a change as they celebrate with the other S6 students at the Forres Academy prom.

We've been privileged to host this event on many occasions over the last two decades, this one being the biggest attendance at 132, and includes our son! ( I feel old)

These young people have put so much effort into this event, they have been mindful and respectful and a credit to the school and their families.

โœจ๏ธThis fab four have won the Landlordโ€™s pub quiz, a win by half a point but a win is a win! I'm Smarticus having been chasing another win for a few weeks, and this evenings performance was top notch.
๐ŸŽ‰Tonight's quiz was a lot of fun with over 98 quizzers taking part. There was lot of chair dancing and jazz hands during the 70s heartthrobs round!
๐Ÿ†The Award winning Reevas Deevas took an early lead and we all thought tonight was to be their first win, sadly it wasn't to be.
๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธWe were delighted to be joined by a very special team from so we included some Dora trivia too. It was so great to welcome them, and also a lovely team from Somerset as well as our usual quizzing friends.
