This exclusive warm-up gig served as the ultimate primer before the band hits London's legendary 100 Club. Seeing a band with this much cult history in such an intimate space, felt less like a standard gig and more like witnessing a historic rebirth.
The bands legendary chemistry remained fully intact. Frontman Gary Twinn, whose voice sounded unbelievable, delivered a performance of sheer power and effortless swagger. Powerhouse Generation X drummer Mark Laff and bassist Simon Kitchener kept the rhythm section airtight, whilst guitarist Ian McKean's razor sharp riffs and leads injected a stadium-ready weight into our very own punk hub venue.
Together, they channelled the band's signature cocktail of 1950s rockabilly swagger and ferocious post punk attitude.
By the time the final chords rang out, Bar 10 was left buzzing. If this intimate gig was anything to go by, the London crowd isn't going to know what hit them. The magnificent Twenty Flight Rockers are officially back and we love them. 🖤
