Basil's Cafe & Deli Café & Deli: serving freshly made sandwiches,rolls, salads, soups, pastries, Barista coffee, shakes, smoothies for eating in or taking away.

Takeaway sandwiches, toasties & panini's are made to order. Our bread is from Sandgate Bakery and fillings are made fresh using local ingredients where possible. Homemade cakes, sausage rolls are available daily. Many of the products for sale in our delicatessen are locally made by independent makers. We take pride in sourcing quality local produce whilst supporting other small businesses. Reducin

g food miles and plastic is also important to us and we use bio degradable or recyclable packaging for all of our take away food, and drinks.

A huge Thank You for the support you've shown us this week since reopening from our little rebrand.
We've been blown away by all your compliments and well wishes, thank you.

The launch of "Happy Hour" on our specially chosen cocktail menu every Thursday evening, yes we know its a school night but with our cocktails tasting so good how can you resist 😋

There's just a couple of days left till Basil's embarks on a new adventure.
Join us this Saturday, our last day, for FREE Mince Pies and Sausage Rolls (subject to availability) as a Thank You from us to you for your support over the last 6 months.
Then once we close the door at 2pm Saturday the hard work starts as we set about to transform Basil's into the "Brunch & Barrel"
New Furniture, New Name, New Menu, New Opening Hours, New Everything but one thing that wont change is the level of service you've come to expect from the team at Basil's over the last 6 months.

We will be closing on the 21st to give our hard working staff time to prepare for their Christmas then in the new year we will be carrying out a full refurbishment to our little cafe and we can't wait to share our plans with year.
