Boasting an enviable location in the Kentish seaside town of Folkestone, Ebony & Ivory is a real breath of fresh air as far as dining is concerned. Nestled along the Old High Street of Folkestone, amongst the vintage boutiques and souvenir shops and just a short walk to the harbour, Ebony & Ivory is a quirky little restaurant serving a fantastic menu inspired by the food of Portugal.

The restaurant offers an extensive menu which is separated into section such as meat, fish, chicken and game. There is plenty to choose from too with starters including lots of fresh fish and seafood such as fried squid, sardines, cod cakes and mussels in a creamy white wine sauce. Main courses are plentiful too with meat options like lamb shanks, burgers, chicken piri piri and lots of steak options whilst under the fish section delicious dishes such as fish stew, sole with a prune sauce and creamed potatoes and paella all feature. The duck with strawberry sauce is comes highly recommended too.

Ebony & Ivory is a cool little eatery with a quirky dining room decked out in black, white and pink. The look is contemporary meets vintage and it really works, especially with its location. The large piano in one corner plays homage to the restaurant's name whilst the huge window to the front allows diners to people watch to their hearts content.

Ebony & Ivory has gained a loyal following since opening and it's easy to understand why. A great Folkestone eatery!
